Faculty Book Talk: Edward McPherson

As part of the Library Faculty Book Talk series, Edward McPherson will discuss The History of the Future  (Coffee House Press), his book of essays on American places and the space between history, experience, and myth. McPherson is an assistant professor in the Department of English at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the author of two previous books: Buster Keaton: Tempest in a Flat Hat (Faber & Faber) and The Backwash Squeeze and Other Improbable Feats (HarperCollins).
